Tapping is a useful way to calm your system down when you are in the midst of anxiety. It is a first step towards understanding how energy works to help bring your mindbody nervous system back into alignment so that you can find the path of least resistance in the present moment.

In a nutshell, I think EFT works by using the tips of your fingertips to gently tap on various acupressure points on your chest, face, and skull while simultaneously repeating a mantra: “Even though I have this pain, I accept myself, and I’m willing to let it go.”
